The Issue 4 Launch of MATERIAL

Saturday, March 28 2015
3-6pm

Ahmanson Auditorium,

MATERIAL would like to invite you to LOOSELY BOUND: The Launch of MATERIAL Issue IV, happening on Saturday, March 28, 2015 from 3-6P at MOCA Grand Avenue in downtown Los Angeles.

Designed by Taylor Giali, Mitch Cox and Armando Martinez-Celis, MATERIAL Issue IV features a collection of perfect-bound signatures, with writings and images by Eleanor Antin, Frances Stark, Stanya Kahn, Vlatka Horvat, Robert Russell, Kim Schoen, Joseph Mosconi, Ginny Cook, Nicholas Grider, Patricia Reed, Jessica Potter, and Jesper List Thomsen.

LOOSELY BOUND refers not only to the journal's experimental design, but also to the unstable states and questioned categories that the artists in Issue IV explore in their writing. Our launch includes a screening of videos in the auditorium and readings and performances in the reading room and the courtyard.

We look forward to celebrating with you!
